Charlotte is an amazing girl dog. She is about 18 months old and will need a family to give her a few days or a week to get comfortable and come to her people for affection. Once she does she is so in love with the humans around her. She loves to hug to tuck her head under your chin while she snuggles on your lap. She is so cute doing her happy dance whenever she sees us walk in. She will wake you by pulling the blankets off of you so she can fall to your face and snuggle you awake. She sleeps quietly at the end of the bed all night long. Charlotte loves a walk but is cautious about other people or dogs. She is a very good watchdog and will alert to any person at the door or coming down your hallway. She wants to please so much that if you have to raise your voice to her she will lay down and show her belly begging for some love. Charlotte is being fostered in Central IL. She is being fostered with dogs cats kids and really doesn t like kids much. She would be happy as an only dog but is playful with other dogs and prefers them to be her size and to be able to stand up to her pushy ways. She barks at cats but can coexist with those that don t challenge her. Charlotte would prefer a single or couple to adopt her with no children. She will bark at other family members if there are more than two. She is not aggressive at all just noisy. She is potty pad trained and will also go outside if you prefer. Charlotte wants a big fenced yard. She loves to race around at top speeds being chased by or chasing another small dog. She would probably make a great jogging buddy and with training a fabulous agility dog. But first it will take patience.
