Rico - Male Domestic Shorthair Mix

Hi My name is Rico I am such a suave cat I sometimes struggle with a disease known as Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) a condition that affects my bladder and urethra. Because of this condition I am currently living out my shelter experience in foster care with a super cool foster dad and dog sister.The good news FLUTD is very manageable. While no one really understands what causes FLUTD it is thought to be induced by stress. Studies have shown that by reducing my stress level we will be reducing the chances that FLUTD will ever occur. I should have plenty of owner attention a variety of toys to play with a place to hide and relax and clean litterboxes. Due to my condition I might require more vet visits than the average kitty to check my urine. I will need to eat exclusively canned prescription diet food. I may require a little extra work but I am definitely worth it I am a friendly guy and really just like to lay back and kick it take naps in the sun and play around with my housemates.
