Monday of this week I Picked up this baby at our shelter she was in critical condition. She could not breath nor hold any food done. She had been brought to the shelter on Saturday. Immediately she was taken to a local veterinarian who saw nothing in X-rays but believed she had a collapsed trachea. Well it was now Monday and she was struggling to live. I was at the shelter picking up 5 really tiny pups and their mom all starved and flea ridden. But I knew I had to help her and the shelter asked me if I could do something. I DID. I picked up the babies brought them home to the Sanctuary made a few calls raised a few dollars and found the best hospital possible that knew how to handle trachea issues as I know they are nearly impossible to fix. We had no idea how bad it was she was turning blue. Within 2 hours I knew the name of the place I was going and I was on my way back to the shelter leaving my husband washing the 5 babies....
