Fernando is a really sweet little guy. He is looking for a quiet home with a somewhat set routine. He likes people most of all and needs a perky little walk a few times a day. He has much to offer a calm home where he can be a big part of the family. He d enjoy sitting on the sofa with you in the evening or next to you in a big old armchair.br> Fernando gets startled easily by quick movements such as those made by children. At his age he deserves a peaceful home without children. Some older grandchildren or neighborhood kids could visit if they are VERY well mannered and respectful of him. They should not pick him up but he might be happy with them gently petting him. Otherwise he should be in a different room than the children.He can probably live well with a small to medium sized canine companion he s not so comfortable with larger dogs even if they are mellow.
