The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and completes scheduled maintenance tasks. They are responsible for multiple maintenance duties by repairing and maintaining the condo units or common area buildings and processes to support the achievement of the site s business goals and objectives. Responsibilities Assist with maintaining proper refrigerant EPA logs should he she be EPA certified. Maintain assigned maintenance vehicle as set forth by supervisor and report any damages or needed repairs of said vehicle to supervisor Use tools and equipment in a safe manner while using Personal Protective Equipment Communicate effectively with your supervisor and co-workers in order to maintain a cohesive workplace Help maintain a clean and healthy work environment for the safety of our employees and guests as well as maintaining all tools and equipment as set forth by supervisor Follow all safety regulations set forth by the company. To know the location of the MSDS binder for proper handling and disposal of all chemicals used in maintenance. Perform any reasonable task or request that is consistent with the objectives of the position while maximizing the quality of properly maintained units. Skills and Requirement To have general knowledge in repairs to some of the following HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical carpentry work appliances flooring swimming pool maintenance and building repairs. Requires a high school diploma GED Minimum 3 years experience in condo or general maintenance Highly motivated and able to work independently Flexible work schedule Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions Ability to interact and communicate effectively with guests and other staff Physical Requirements Able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times with the use of proper equipment Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions Vision to read printed material Hearing and speech to communicate in person over the telephone and or radio
