Nickname Fletcher Posted Breed Nice Dane Husky. In early 2015 a lovely Nice Dane Husky came into our care. Fletcher is now 5-years-old and continues looking for his very own human. Fletcher has been blind his whole life. Although he appears to sometimes see things that is evidence of how he has adapted to his disability. His vision or complete lack of it was verified by a professional animal ophthalmologist. Fletch does not know anything different but humans have a tendency to feel sorry for this big boy which has resulted in Fletcher having some behavioral issues. Fletcher like any dog gets bored. He is a very smart boy and needs someone looking for a dog to participate in dog challenging activities (obedience nose work etc.). Fletcher desperately needs someone who will NOT feel sorry for him but a human who is willing to help build his confidence through both appropriate leadership and mental exercises....
