Raleigh - Female Chihuahua Mix

I m an adorable little girl that made my way here after my owner left me to fend for myself in an house with no water food or electricity. The nice neighbors heard me cry and called Animal Control. They came and saved me and when I arrived at the SPCA I was terrified but wanted to badly to trust. The nice folks here have taken great care of me and taught me that I can trust people again. It takes me a little bit to warm up and bond with you but when I do I am sure to be a wonderful companion. I am currently an office dog and boy do I love it. I have a nice quiet place to call my temporary home and I have made a lot of new human friends. I have tried to make some canine friends but I think I would be happiest as the only dog. I get overwhelmed and intimidated by other dogs especially larger and more active types. If you have a very calm and socialized dog then maybe we would be a good match and as long as they respect my space. I ignore kitty cats so I should be fine with feline friends. I kind of act like a cat sometimes so that might be a cute match. Due to my timid and sensitive nature I need a calm and patient household ideally without any rambunctious children or visitors.
