1985 Two-Door T-Top Mustang GT V 8 (302 CI) has Michigan Historical Plate good until 2021. Loaded with everything available in 1985 including Power Windows Power Locks Power Brakes Power Steering Tilt Steering Air Conditioning Standard Heater Updated AM FM Radio with CD Cassette capability Front & Rear Speakers Vinyl Seats with the same color combo as the original fabric seats (gray with red piping) Cruise Control Intermittent Windshield Wipers Fog Lamps T-Tops. Lots of repairs including all new suspension components with new Monroe struts shocks plus stabilizer braces right left under body to control body twist plus strut tower brace under hood for additional twist control. Original gauges (temperature gauge replaced) theft alarm system installed with proximity cheeper switch to ward off touchers also having remote control door trunk lock switches. Original dual exhaust replaced with true duals plus dual catalytic converters. Original roller cam engine block replaced with flat tappet rebuilt block (302) from a 1985 Ford Van this combo gives the car lots of scat even with the Positraction Rearend. You ll have a ball running this vehicle through all five gears of the standard transmission with floor mounted shifter. The carbureted intake is original (last year for the carb). The Odometer reads over 90K Miles because it was never reset after the new block was installed which had around 9k miles at the time and hasn t had many more put on it since either. Rear window defroster is original equipment. The Jalapeno Red (2) paint is original. The Serpentine belt picks up a little horsepower with its underdrive pulley. The T-Tops are the view through type. Cooper Cobra Tires are dressed up with bright shiny Eagle rims. The ignition system has been beefed up with a high voltage Mallory Coil Crane HI-6S Inductive Ignition System with Halo Spark Plugs providing the fire power. In addition side view mirrors are manual remote control. Due to business interests I cannot find enough time to spend with this car it needs to be driven and enjoyed by someone that will have the time to spare.
