Newt is an extremely active 4 yr old small red merle Toy Mini Australian Shepherd with a docked tail that weighs fourteen pounds and is 14ins tall. Newt has a lot of energy and needs an active home that can provide him with mental stimulation to keep him busy. He is super adorable sweet and enjoys snuggling with his person. He does prefer woman over men but has shown to warm up to men with a little time. He would do best in with at least one woman in the home. He is crate trained and enters on command. In fact he prefers to stay in his crate when left home alone where he feels safe secure and runs to crate himself when his foster mom is getting ready to leave for work. He walks well on a leash has a fantastic recall and knows commands sit no and is learning down.He is extremely smart food motivated and has the potential to learn so much more. He needs a home that will enroll him in some basic and intermediate training classes....
