Meet Parker a sweet hound looking for a loving responsible and permanent home. Parker has lots and lots of energy and wants to go for long walks hikes everyday. He really loves to play tug of war and keep away with his toys. Parker is highly treat motivated and knows some basic commands. He is very smart and could easily learn much more. Hounds like to bay so an apartment is probably not the ideal living situation. A house out in the county with lots of room to explore would be preferred. Parker can live with respectful children 8 years and older. A very confident cat might be okay. Parker can live with another dog but will have to meet any potential house mates to assure they get along. As you can see Parker is a bit on the chunkier side and could really use a high quality low calorie diet to help him shed some weight.
