We are a responsible respectful and friendly assistance dog organization Pawsitive Action Foundation Inc. is a newer (within the past five yrs.) 501(c)3 nonprofit assistance dog organization that breeds or rescues trains then places quality custom trained assistance dogs to be partnered with people who have disabilities living anywhere in the State of Florida at no cost to our clients. One of our board members who also has a Pawsitive Action Foundation assistance dog lives in West Palm Beach recognizing Palm Beach County s need want for assistance dogs and as we are generously supported by the Leeds Endowment Inc. one of the prominent areas we serve is Palm Beach County. The types of assistance dogs we train are mobility assistance dogs assistance dogs for veterans autism assistance dogs and facility dogs and as our assistance dogs we use golden retrievers Labrador retrievers Australian shepherds and rescued dogs from shelters whenever possible. We are looking for puppy raisers who live in Palm Beach County and would want to help socialize and train future assistance dogs. NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED we will teach you everything you need to know. We rotate puppies with puppy raisers every few months to get our dogs comfortable to change from the onset naturally exposing them to different environments and household elements etcetera while making it a little easier for puppy raisers to not get too attached. Currently we are seeking puppy raisers for a litter of golden retriever puppies that were born on 12 13 14 and 12 14 14 that are almost ready to go to their first puppy raiser homes.
