I am a licensed Shih-Tzu breeder and I have been breeding only AKC registered pure-bred Shih-Tzu puppies for more than 37 years. I am recognized throughout my community as an honest reputable breeder. I do not handle any other breed of dog in order to insure my line is pure Shih Tzu. I follow selective breeding practices for both the dam and the sire which live with us in our home. Genetic testing has been done through Cornell University and I continue to cull every six years to eliminate any undesirable defects related to health issues as well as cosmetic issues such as the overbite and underbite allergies renal and retina issues etc. It is my policy to breed my female adult dogs every other heat rather than each time they go into heat thus insuring the health of the mom as well as the puppies. As a result my puppies are healthy extremely good natured friendly and very pretty. They have beautiful faces and wonderfully sweet dispositions. Their coats are silky and full (absolutely beautiful ). They meet all the standards for the Shih Tzu breed. Their dispositions are very gentle and very affectionate. Most of them grow to be approximately 9 to 10 lbs at adult weight. The little Shih-Tzu is hypo-allergenic and they do not shed. When bred properly this is just the nicest breed of a little dog you could ever imagine. My little Shih-Tzu s are soooo friendly affectionate and playful and require very little exercise. They are not a territorial breed of dog and they do no tend to be yappers . It seems their only purpose in life is to please you. They are truly a perfect companion dog for children for the elderly and also professional people. They love children who come over to play with them daily. In fact they seem to love everyone. People who purchase my puppies refer me time and time again to their friends and relatives. The AKC lineage for all my puppies can be traced back at least four generations. Each puppy is hand held and played with on a daily basis and are thoroughly socialized. All puppies have been bred in our home and they have been socialized with our family members. They have had their first vaccination shot and in addition they are practically house broken by the time they go to their new homes. I give a contract and ask that you bring your puppy to a certified reputable veterinarian to be examined. Should a qualified veterinarian find the puppy to be defective or unsuitable as a pet the puppy can be returned to me and your money will be refunded. I have numerous references available and will be pleased to answer any questions you may have. It is important for you to know that I do not ship my puppies out of state. Anyone who purchases a puppy from me must come to my home to finalize any transaction.
