Cicada is a pretty little girl. She was struggling to feed her young family on the street when her luck turned around and the whole family was caught and brought into foster care during a terrible cold snap. Although Cicada is now living in a loving foster home and never has to worry about being cold or hungry again she remains a shy kitty. Love and patience is what will eventually win Cicada over. During her time in foster care she made some wonderful strides. She no longer spends all her time hiding but likes to play with her toys and the other kitties in the house. Cicada is a very curious girl and always wants to know what you re doing so she ll watch your every movement from a safe distance. Because she s still shy Cicada doesn t like to be picked up and will occasionally let you pet her. Time is what she needs to settle in. Cicada may never be a true lap kitty but you can see that she has so much to offer. Just look into her little angel face and your heart will melt. Cicada would do best in a quieter environment where she can have a kitty companion to feel secure. MEOW Foundation is a registered charity and humane society with a no-kill mandate.
