Purty is a lively playful kitty who s pretty laid-back as well. She loves being scratched and petted and likes to be held sometimes too but she will let you know when she s ready to do her own thing again. She s got quite the motor and loves to share her purrs She is quick and agile when playing and definitely loves her toys. Purty will do best with older children -- probably teenagers -- and a family who is fairly gentle and low-key. She mostly ignored the dogs and other cats in her foster home but she s fine with any that do the same to her. She ll be a wonderful companion for someone with a quieter lifestyle who is fine with her occasional need to be independent.This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway program -- a program designed to give cats a vacation from the shelter and let them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted.
