Traveling for Christ Helping those in need.

The January 2017 Point-in-Time count the most recent national estimate of homelessness in the United States identified 553 742 people experiencing homelessness. Approximately 34 percent (192 875 people) lived in a place not meant for human habitation such as the street or an abandoned building. Single individuals comprised 66.7 percent of all people experiencing homelessness (369 081 people) and about 33.3 percent were people in families (184 661 adults and children). Approximately 7.2 percent of people counted were veterans (40 056) and 7.4 percent were unaccompanied children and young adults (40 799). My mission is to visit the communities to read with them the gospels. Let them know that they have the love of God and to be a light in their darkness. I will document the whole mission in order to do a study on the why and how. I will be living among them the entire trip in order to place myself in their shoes to help with the understanding. I will be studying this documentary in hopes to help prevent homelessness for others in the future. All proceeds will go to food for the homeless New Testament bibles for the homeless and clothes for the upcoming cold months. I have had this calling for months now and was steering away from it but it again has been placed on my heart to go. I just am letting him lead the way by faith. So I now am going to deny my flesh and pick up my cross.As stated in Isaiah 55 8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways 9 As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your waysand my thoughts than your thoughts.
