BUCKY - Male Shih Tzu

Bucky is a 7 year old 10 lb bundle of Shih Tzu love. Bucky s owner had to go into assisted living and was heartbroken to discover that he could not take his beloved dog with him. He was not able to find a home for him and was forced to turn him into a rural shelter. Poor Bucky was there for over two weeks scared lonely and confused. He is now safe at a foster home and very excited that he was able to leave the shelter. This little guy is everything good that you want in a dog. He is laid back and well behaved but still playful. Nothing makes him happier than sitting on a nice warm lap. He is fine with dogs cats and kids. We do have one health issue to report in all fairness it is a heart murmur that we find is common to find in the Shih Tzu breed throughout their lifetime. Bucky is a 3-4 grade out of 6. The vets have checked him over and we have given him a much needed dental which should alleviate any further murmur advancement. He does not need heart meds at all. In fact we know of many Shih Tzus like Bucky that live with a heart murmur like this for the rest of their life and no heart failure at all. He is looking forward to finding his forever home soon so he can begin to adjust to these big changes in his life.
