Well hey there Thanks for stopping to read about me I m Dawson and it s so nice to meet you I am thought to be about a year old but no one knows my age for sure. I d love to have a Gotcha Day though to celebrate the day you bring me home - wink wink. I arrived at the Providence Animal Center after a nice police officer found me on the street and took me in so I wouldn t be so hot outside. I didn t have a family to claim me but I ve heard through the doggie-vine that I am exactly where I need to be to find a family that will love me forever and call me their own. The nice police officer I stayed with for two days had small humans who were over 8 years old (kids they say ) who were great playmates. I am so grateful that I don t have to wander outside anymore but I really want my own family. Now I have moved in with a great family in a foster home. I have been good in their house and have shown them that I am crate-trained and am doing well with my housetraining. There is a resident dog here and my foster parents have learned that I would do well with a very playful or very tolerant doggy friend if there is one in my forever home. I am working really hard on my inter-dog skills I would love to try out one of those doggy daycares so I can continue to build my social skills. I am trying so hard to be a very good boy. My foster parents have been working with me on my basic commands and I m proud to say that I even know sit I am already neutered up to date on all of my vaccines and microchipped.
