Job Summary Provide legal guidance to company operations groups relating to compliance with federal and state regulations relating to debt collection and consumer credit rights including compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Fair Credit Reporting Act Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and other collection industry related legislation and the mandates of the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB). Support the company s Compliance Department including providing guidance in its activities. Research and support procedures for compliance in all consumer letters telephonic collections and company associate activities related to consumer collections.
