Dolly is just a doll. I guess that s where she got her name. She was among some dogs that Harbored Souls rescued from a difficult hoarding situation. When she first entered her foster home she was extremely shy and timid. However after a few weeks she has really come out of her shell. She is still a bit timid and of course after all she s been through she will require a patient loving family. She does enjoy spending time with her foster family and has a tail that never stops wagging. She is housebroken if taken out consistently and she knows how to use the doggie door in her foster home. She likes to explore around the house and back yard and is starting to play with her foster brothers (two schnauzers). She finally is starting to understand what it s like to truly be a dog. You see Dolly had lived on a chain for as long as she can remember and having all this freedom has been a learning experience and everything is new to her. Dolly is a bit shy right at first with a new person but she warms up quickly. Once Dolly gets to knows you you will see what her foster family does and you can t help but fall for this girl. She s been known to melt a few hearts. She is loved by everyone she meets and she can make people smile. She is good with kids and other dogs but with her background we prefer for her to find a house with no kids or with older kids who understand that she needs to be treated sweetly with ( time and patience).
