Sam is a gorgeous black & tan neutered male approx age 7 weighing 85 lb. He is very active for his age and loves to go on walks or runs. He likes to have a job to do and puts his all into every activity. He is of course house and crate trained and is friendly to all people. He does a good job meeting strangers while on a walk and at home. Sam is not recommended for kids under 12 as he can get excited and be mouthy. He also doesn t love all other dog although he currently lives with 2 calm male German Shepherds one of which is playful and the other which likes to herd and he gets along great with both of them. He is too interested in cats to be considered cat-safe but he is fine with chickens as long as they are behind a secure chicken run. Sam loves to engage his people in play. He is obedient and knows sit come how to walk on a leash decently runs next to a golf cart beautifully goes into crate does not resource guard takes food carefully from a hand etc. He is also trusted to roam the house freely with his foster brothers when his foster mom is not home as he does beautifully. Sam would do best in a calm home environment without a lot of activity as the overstimulation can make him anxious. Please consider Sam as your furever companion. He will give you his absolute all. He longs to bond closely with his own person. He wants to be next to you at all times and will give you his whole heart with enthusiasm. Sam is being fostered near Fayetteville NC.
