You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jackson is a wonderful and sweet hound mix pup who was surrendered to Family Dog Rescue earlier this year when his owners realized he was deaf. Sadly they live in a very rural area where deaf dogs don t stand a chance at shelters so they reached out to us to help him. Once we met Jackson we knew we wanted this sweet boy in our program.Jackson was adopted earlier this year and returned recently because his new owner could no longer keep him. Poor Jackson can t seem to catch a break This sweet boy is about 11 months old now and weighs 40 pounds. He is the perfect medium size and has an amazing temperament. Jackson does well with other dogs and is a smart and well-behaved boy. He would also do fine living with children. He is an active and young guy who needs an adopter that can give him enough mental and physical stimulation. Some people worry about training a dog with special needs but it s not harder than training any other puppy Jackson already knows some basic commands and is house-trained.
