50 s Sock Hop Car Show July 26-28 2013

This event will consist of the invitation to various car clubs and members in this local area and other nearby regions. This car show will be formatted solely to fifties through mid-seventies vehicles. The intent of this show is to keep the event as true and nostalgic to that era for the public to enjoy and appreciate. In attendance throughout this event as the m c for the evening Sock Hop will be the popular National Oldies Sirius Radio personality Bobby B who will be assisting in sponsoring this event. Aside from various foods general merchandise and car parts vendors there will be dance and trivia contests with various oldies group bands performing live throughout the day and evening. There will be live radio broadcasts Elvis tribute performers raffles door prizes and much more. Awards will be given to participants for various best of show cars as well as dance participants. There will be a nostalgic drive-in movie set-up in the evening to simulate a 50 s drive-in theater. In keeping with the 50 s and 60 s fun atmosphere and era old science fiction horror and car related movies will be shown for everyone s enjoyment.
