Hi My name is Dexter and I m a cuddle bug I m just a baby at 4 months old I LOVE sleeping next to you I love to be held petted and kissed I love giving kisses too That s my foster mom and she just adores me She says I make her seniors play like puppies again I absolutely love being around other doggies. I love to kiss and hug my big foster sis. I am getting this potty traini ng thing down. It s tough sometimes but it s all worth it to hear my foster mommy cheer my name and call me with open arms when I m done. I am crate trained and can stay in the crate with no accidents for whole 8 hours The crate isn t my favorite place and I cry for about 10 minutes but I know it s the safest place for me bc I m curious about everything Just as long as I have my bowl with some water in it and my stuffed pumpkin toy then I m good I love to eat My Foster mommy says I eat too quickly and may need to get one of those slow feeder bowls. I eat about 1 and 1 4 cups in the morning and 1 and 1 4 cups for dinner. I have been eating the puppy Pro Plan (chicken) Savor bites. I love it so much I wish breakfast and dinner time never had to end. I am walking better and better on the leash everyday I just get so excited I sometimes can t contain myself Oh I almost forgot... I weigh a whooping 25.8 pounds I ride well in the car and I can t wait to meet you Dexter is a Male Lab Mix that we estimate to be around 4 months old. PUPPIES Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved a meeting can be arranged. Also we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs however the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. SPAY NEUTER As we believe proper healthcare of one s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
