The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events but we must give priority to pre-approved applicants.Meet Gracie She is a super sweet laid-back 5 year old Yorkie Schnauzer mix. She is very attentive likes to explore the backyard for squirrels and go for walks. Good thing because she weighs in at about 35 pounds Although Gracie loves to go on walks she was bothered by a bum back leg and wasn t able to go for long. With the help of ARF and Wheaton Animal Hospital Gracie recently had surgery and is recovering nicely. Gracie will need the help of her forever home to gradually increase her exercise level as she heals. She is great with kids and other dogs. Gracie is house trained as well. Not a single accident in her foster s home. She would make a fantastic new addition and companion to any household Gracie is micro-chipped up to date on all vaccinations housebroken and spayed. Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Gracie s adoption fee is 250.
