Hello my name is Meagen. I am 22 years old my fiancee is 23 and I am currently pregnant with our first little one and due any day this week now. IT S A BOY ) We are from the Eastern Shore of Virginia but are now currently located in Norfolk VA. We are currently living in a two bedroom apartment but the issue at hand is serious. The apartment vent system has some sort of black stuff growing in them. I have sprayed and scrubbed them but still no help. We have contacted our apartment management put in work orders and have talked to fellow neighbors about it. Management has not bothered to help nor has maintenance. All neighbors I have talked to have the same black stuff and have complained but again received no help. My belief is that this black gunk is black mold...which is toxic to me fiancee and worst of all my soon to arrive newborn son. It is urgent that we move Our lease is up the 7th of August Which is why I am posting this ad today. We are looking for a 2 bedroom house or apartment that does not do criminal background checks. This is due to my fiancee s past criminal record. He was 17 when he had gotten into trouble but 18 when he was charged. This charge is not sex drug or violence related. So it is not something serious to be afraid of. We have both always paid rent on time and have never caused any trouble where we are as of today. This is our first home away from our parents so this is the only reference we have.
