A4964540 Rocko Pit Bull American Bulldog Mix A4964540 Rocko is a handsome family-ready 9-year-old red-and-white neutered male Pit Bull and American Bulldog mix whose owners left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on June 22nd saying they could no longer afford to have a dog. Weighing 77 lbs Rocko has plenty of playfulness and a good sense of fun he acts and looks much younger than his age (and perhaps IS younger than the age listed at the shelter). He walks respectably on leash but given his size and strength his new person family should probably work with him to polish his leash skills. He shows signs of being housebroken already and he gets along swimmingly with other dogs of all sizes. He also passed passed his shelter-administered temperament test and is easily cheerful and polite with people. Rocko strikes us as a dog who will be patient and gentle with kids. Rocko is eager to join a fun-loving forever household that will make him an inside pet and companion and will appreciate his good cheer and sweet sloppy kisses.
