Resident Manager Alcoholic men s residential facility Last Chance House Inc. is now accepting applications for its Resident Manager position opening up on September 1 2013. Last Chance House is a non-profit 501(c)(3) alcoholic men s short-term residential facility chartered for up to five full-time residents located in Crystal Lake Illinois. The Last Chance House bylaws are adopted from the principals of AA and is governed by a sober and local Board of Directors. The ideal candidate would be beyond his second year of sobriety and practice the AA principals in all his affairs. Professional credentials are not required but could be helpful. We are seeking a compassionate individual who is sensitive to the rigors of sober living but can also enforce the resident requirements by example. Regular duties include but are not limited to - Mature honest and respectful communication with the residents - Honest and open communication with the Board members - Coordinate routine household chores with the residents including food and household supply inventory food preparation cleaning meeting scheduling organizing and delegating routine household responsibilities to residents providing routine communication and reports to the Board members - Ongoing desire to grow spiritually through sobriety and service to others. Compensation package includes a monthly salary full room and board in a clean wholesome and sober living environment.
