Velma is timid at first and is going to need a loving family to show her what it means to be loved and cared for Although Velma is shy initially she bonds strongly to the people in the home. She prefers women over men and is quiet- medium energy level. Also makes a great running partner The only flaw sweet Velma has is that she doesn t share well with cats in the household. Here is what her foster had to say about her ...she was a perfect house guest. She was perfect in her crate - quiet & content. She didn t have any accidents and walked nicely on a leash. She was great with our dog and didn t have any problems with the dogs she met on walks. She is submissive and timid but even in her short time with us we could see her becoming more comfortable with new things. Because Velma will need a patient home and some time to adjust we don t recommend that she is adopted into a home with young children. If you think you could give sweet Velma the loving home she so deserves apply today Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home ensures the dog remains well socialized and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
