A volunteer writes When a staffer told me that Brandon is the cutest sweetest little guy at the shelter at the moment in her opinion I had to meet him. He was sleeping much of the afternoon but I finally saw him pick up his head when I was on my way out and stopped to meet him. He is absolutely adorable in his finely threaded lush coat (think super sophisticated needle point) his colors the finest shades of golds and bronzes. Brandon was given as a gift to a family member who can t keep him so brought him to our care. It s not as simple as returning a sweater in a color we don t like or a necktie in a pattern we don t like. Animals should not be gifts. Brandon is described as affectionate and playful doesn t guard his things and lived with a female Yorkie with whom he was friendly and affectionate. We re told he s housetrained a skill he showed me as soon as we were out the door and then showed off nice leash manners as we walked down the street. He takes treats gently gave me sweet kisses and trotted around the backyard pen when off leash sitting when I asked him to for pictures.
