Round Lake IL Req ID 62263BRBusiness Title Financial AnalystBusiness Global FinanceSub-Business Med Prod Mfg SupportCountry USState Province IllinoisLocation of Position Round Lake IL Shift 1st Job Description Position is responsible for supporting financial reporting and analysis for Global Manufacturing Profit & Loss statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow and operational reporting. Specific responsibilities will include Complete month-end close accounting and reporting including accrual analysis journal entries and reconciliations Perform monthly consolidation and provide financial reporting packages for the Global MP Manufacturing organization centered around the overall P& L manufacturing variations and capital results including key driver and variance analysis Assist with the preparation of balance sheet cash flow reporting and analysis of results Support the quarterly forecasts and annual budget processes for the Global MP Manufacturing organization encompassing four Regions and over 40 plants Ensure data integrity amongst the various systems including Global Manufacturing COGNOS JDE B4One and Global Planning COGNOS Drive process improvement and efficiencies for the entire Global Manufacturing Network Assist with Ad Hoc projectsJob Requirements Strong technical and financial knowledge including understanding of accounting principles internal control requirements financial analysis and reporting as well as understanding of relevant business environment Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment often cross-functionally Detail oriented Ability to manage tasks concurrently Owns career and is accountable for managing own development Working knowledge of PC applications and systems (i.e. Microsoft Office Cognos JDE) Key Finance Competencies Financial Analysis and Decision Support Business Performance Management Accounting and Reporting Integrity EDUCATION Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting (or country equivalent) Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 1 years of relevant experience with financial planning and reportingDoing Work that Matters Baxter provides its employees with comprehensive compensation and benefits.
