Patriots will bring WWII history to life!

Volunteers are needed to proceed Climb on board to join this exciting time in the Wings of Freedom Flight Plan . The Wings of Freedom (WOF) is a volunteer collaboration of veterans and volunteers in the Milwaukie Oregon Pacific Northwest area. The mission is to build a lasting educational commemorative tribute to the men and women who served valiantly and made a vital contribution to the victory in World War II. A team will restore the Lacey Lady a WWII B-17G aircraft expand the WWII memorial museum and educate future generations. This Veteran B-17G the Lacey Lady has been an icon in Oregon s since 1947. She is one of approx. 30 left in the world. Her condition warrants immediate attention and increased funding to move into advanced stages of renovation to SAVE this rare aircraft in order to honor all those who served to preserve our freedom. Many volunteers are needed to proceed on her Flight Plan from TAXI to TAKE-OFF MISSION preservation. A team is in progress to land her safely to the ground from her perch of 15 feet in the air. Once at ground level the Lacey Lady will begin extensive analysis and preparations to return her to her original glory.
