We hold the number two branded share position in the other two product categories.Description Responsible for production and warehouse control of packing materials raw ingredients and finished goods. Also responsible for sampling verification and compliance to some quality programs. Position for the Kraft Food Ingredients plant in Memphis TN. Planning shuttle shipments of raw and finished goods between warehouse and plant. Receiving raw materials from vendor locations to meet production requirements and plant constraints. Procurement of packing materials and supplies to meet planned demand. Management of raw pack and finished inventories. Investigate and resolve all inventory or supply issues affecting the plant production. Conduct COA verifications between Meridian SAP and vendor documentation Process vendor notifications and follow up until issues are closed to the plants satisfaction Conduct quality swabbing within the plant and prep samples for testing. Control and monitor restricted inventories. Manage expired Raw and Finished Goods inventories and the disposition process Responsible for compliance with plant ingredient form (schedule A ) for Kosher certificate compliance Resolve receipt invoice and other issues related to materials and supplies. Work with production to measure and improve compliance to schedule. Work with production Scheduler and Procurement achieve business objectives. Identify and implement projects to improve material availability generate cost savings and improve plant performance. Provide leadership to clerical and production staff. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a variety of temperatures Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills with desire and ability to work and communicate in a team-based environment with limited supervision Ability to simultaneously perform multiple job duties as assigned Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected changes or modifications of daily work activity Ability to perform hard work in a fast paced environment Incumbent will have responsibility to achieve productivity efficiency customer service cost quality safety objectives through both individual and team contributions. Provides direction leadership and support on assignments and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible for the leadership of hourly workforce and providing direction team members. Inspects and audits procedures and products daily to ensure compliance with all specifications policies and operating procedures. Work closely with other units to resolve issues and seeks feedback for improvement. Ensures compliance with plant company and government safety standards specifications policies and operating procedures. Establishes and maintains communications systems with all employees in the work group. Ensures inventory integrity of all plant finished goods inventories.Qualifications Minimum 1 year of leadership supervisory experience manufacturing warehouse environment preferred. Must be able to work any shift weekends and overtime as needed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Strong desire to train and coach others to improve performance. Experience with SAP preferred. Minimum 2 years experience in production receiving inventory control quality compliance. Understanding of MRP and Inventory Control processes preferred. Understanding of relationship between Manufacturing Logistics and Finance is a plus. Understanding of transportation and shipping functions of the plant and outside warehouse preferred. Strong in MS Office SAP and Meridian systems. Excellent communication skills required.
