Two Opportunities Available KCA& T PLLC Work out of a downtown CPA office and be your own boss You will receive a fully equipped personal office space located in the center of downtown Marquette on Washington Street and made available to you 182 1 2 days per year (full time office space available) o Pick which days you want to reserve throughout the year (example Monday Wednesday and mornings on Friday Saturday and Sunday) o The office is furnished has internet access and is equipped with your personal printer scanner copier a dual monitor hard disk (for backing up files) file cabinet 10-key mouse kitchenette and restroom o 500 per year in paper ink W2 1099 stock and other supplies will be made available to you with additional supplies provided on a reimbursable basis You will receive a personal laptop computer equipped with a professional version of Microsoft Windows Microsoft Office Adobe Acrobat Intuit s QuickBooks ProAdvisor licensing and carrying case o The combination of hardware and software is designed to allow you to work from anywhere and provide professional level bookkeeping payroll and financial statement services to your clients o Turn in your computer every four years and upgrade to a new one free of charge with the latest versions of similar software You are responsible for backing up your computer and for paying any repair replacement costs not covered by warranty for the first four years Keep 100% of your own client revenue earned from performing bookkeeping payroll financial statement and other services plus receive a commission equal to 25% of the gross tax preparation fees received from any of your clients that you refer to Krause Certified Accounting & Tax PLLC (or give your clients a 25% discount) Krause Certified Accounting & Tax PLLC established August 2009 performs a limited number of bookkeeping and payroll service engagements allowing you to earn referrals free of charge based on the Firm s overflow and at the discretion of the Firm s managing member (Visit www.bkrausecpa.com e-mail bkrause(at)bkrausecpa.com) You will be entitled to forty hours per year of consulting services provided by Krause Certified Accounting & Tax PLLC but billable by you as you see fit with additional hours available at 75% of the regular fee and on 45 day payment terms when scheduling appointments during the months June through December o All consulting will be provided by the Firm s founder and sole member Brendon J. Krause who is both a certified public accountant and QuickBooks ProAdvisor and who specializes in small business accounting and taxation with over eight years experience o Consulting services are provided by appointment (evenings weekends ok) between June 1st and December 31st of each year standard consulting fees will apply for all consultations before June 1st o Consulting services can either be used personally for development purposes or assigned to your clients in order to address their needs (you bill keep the ) and are provided annually (use-it-or-lose-it) o Focus areas for consultations may include accounting system design and implementation taxation (personal and business income sales use payroll personal property and estate gift) budgeting and forecasting Quickbooks assistance and general business consulting Call 228-2130 - Cost 7 750 down partially non-refundable plus 450 per month thereafter adjusted 2.5% annually - Serious inquiries only 5 350 of the down payment is non-refundable while the remaining 2 400 is refundable as amortized over one year based on days of office occupancy
