Marion County Fair Volunteers, July 9-14, 2013

The Marion County Fair needs your help Volunteers are needed in the following areas Open Class exhibit intake nights 3 00-7 00 July 9 and 10 Volunteers needed to receive entries and help set up Open Class displays. Open Class exhibit evening booth tenders Volunteers are needed to booth-sit in the Open Class areas of the Jackman-Long building to make sure exhibits are safe during the evenings from about 5 00 pm until closing. Information booth Volunteers are needed to staff the information booth in the Jackman-Long building handing out programs and helping people find the areas of the fair that they are looking for. Open Class take-down Volunteers are needed the evening of July 14 starting 6 00 pm to help return exhibits to their owners and help take down the exhibit areas in the Jackman-Long building. Other areas of the fair as needed. All volunteers receive free fair admission for the day and an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation dinner. The Marion County Fair is held on the Oregon State Fairgrounds on 17th Street in Salem.
