Join our Team as a Design and Sales Professional Company Info Design Environs Corporation is a local Commercial Interior Design Firm and Furniture Dealer. Our turn-key services begin with space planning and proceed to project implementation order processing project management culminating into a completed installation. We are exclusive dealers for major vendors such as Kimball Office and are providers of Furniture Now for projects needing same week turn around. We sell and handle all aspects of an interior package including space planning new furniture reconfiguration finishes construction documents and renovations. We are currently working on a multitude of commercial projects through-out central Virginia including medical offices and labs corporate offices university departments and offices and government facilities.Position Description We are looking for an Interior Design Professional to design and sell projects to our prospective and repeat clients. Duties to include but are not limited to prospective client interviewing preparation of consulting and or product sales contracts field measuring inputting of fieldwork into AutoCAD SketchUp preparation of floor plans and elevation base drawings space planning analysis furnishing and finish specifications budget preparation client presentation of solutions and budgets implementation of approved package completion of drawing documents coordination of subcontractors project management order tracking installation scheduling post project follow-through and a multitude of administrative tasks supporting our sales.. This is an all hands on deck position. Qualifications The candidate MUST hold a Bachelor s Degree in Interior Design or relevant work experience in the field. They must also have the ability to multitask and balance multiple projects at different stages of design and installation and have basic knowledge of building construction. The candidate MUST be proficient in AutoCAD QuickBooks SketchUp Microsoft Office and the desire to flourish in a fast paced professional work environment. Compensation Base Salary plus Sales Commission This is a Full-Time job.
