Project Manager Job DescriptionProject Practice ManagementEffectively follows our construction manual. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources and materials needed for projects. Schedules sub-contractors effectively to ensure project is completed within proper time frame. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project. Orders Materials from suppliers as needed for project. Reviews deliveries prepared by suppliers before delivering to site. Ensures tools vehicles and equipment are maintained properly. Effectively applies and enforces our project standards. Ensures project documents are complete current and stored appropriately. CommunicationFacilitates team and client meetings effectively. Holds regular status meetings with superiors. Keeps team members well informed of changes within the individual projects. Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors. Understands how to communicate difficult sensitive information tactfully. Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. Technical UnderstandingPossesses understanding in the areas of swimming pool construction and swimming pool equipment and plumbing operations. Possesses understanding of some landscaping and grading. Possess understanding of mechanical electrical and building codes. Client ManagementManages day-to-day client interaction. Sets and manages client expectations. Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Qualifications3-5 years of project manager experience. Minimum 2 years experience in concrete swimming pool construction. Salary55 000 85 000 K per year based on experience.
