Brown tabby short hair female born approx. 1 1 11 11685Monique was wandering out in the countryside suffering from severe mastitis (inflammation of her teats) when she was found. Her rescuer looked around for kittens yet was unable to find any. Monique was then taken to a woefully underfunded animal shelter where she sat for a very long time without finding a home a person who does independent rescue and tries to help those shelter cats pulled her from there yet her resources are also limited and after some time The Rescue House was asked if we could help this sweet kitty finally find a home.Monique is most definitely a lap cat and a kitty who greatly enjoys the company of people. She loves to sit in your lap kneading her paws and making biscuits on your legs while purring gently and contentedly. Monique is an engaging girl and she will always do her best to keep your attention and show how happy she is to have you around this includes rolling around on her back and overall being absolutely adorable.Monique is comfortable around other cats. We haven t yet seen her with dogs or young children.Monique is a sweet and loving cat who has had some hard times yet also people willing to go to bat for her.
