ThrivalTech is a small R& D company with a primary focus on the development of plasma technologies for emissions control. www.thrivaltech.com The position outline below has a starting wage that is dependent on the experience of the applicant. Responsibilities Set up test and take down of compression and spark ignited engines on a water brake dynamometer Accurately perform emission test cycles on dynamometer Operate emission measurement and testing equipment (Exhaust gas analyzer Opacity meter etc) Record data manually while monitoring electronic data collection and systems controls Review test data for accuracy Maintain written records and provide regular test reports to management Perform maintenance on water-brake dynamometer and emission related analytical equipment Perform general mechanical tasks including engine maintenance diagnosis and repair and component replacement Drive to pick up parts from local vendors as needed Work overtime and or off shift when required Routine shop maintenance and cleaning Qualifications 2 years working in relevant industries Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint Works well with a team and can adapt to rapidly changing work environment Valid drivers license and registered vehicle Relevant technical knowledge & experience is a plus Chemistry Emissions control industry Plasma & applied technologies Emissions testing lab environment Water-brake dynamometer operation Associates Degree Trade School certification
