SEX Female Approximate Weight 50 lbs. Has Lived With Other dogs Currently Living at Shelter in South Carolina Serendipity will be coming to D.C. THIS weekend and needs a foster Special adoption considerations None known Meet gorgeous mama Serendipity This sweet 1-2 year old shepherd mix weighing in at approximately 50 lbs. found herself at a shelter through no fault of her own. She and her puppies were rescued in the nick of time and now she s on her way to D.C. this weekend in the hopes of finding a loving family to give her a second shot at a happy life As a young and energetic dog Serendipity will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep her happy and healthy. An adopter who works full time would need to commit to having a midday dog walker for her during the week. Serendipity would benefit from frequent trips to the dog park or even doggie daycare so she can socialize with her canine friends And of course upon returning home she d love to shower her new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles Although Serendipity loves people and gets along well with other dogs we haven t had a chance to see her interact with kids or cats yet. If you have them let us know and we ll do our best to find out Serendipity is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in her doggie manners and be the best dog she can be Serendipity will make a great companion and family member you won t regret opening your heart and home to this sweet lady Like most shelter dogs Serendipity may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained. The adoption fee for this dog is 350 which includes the cost of routine vetting including vaccinations and spay neuter.
