Please help me get out I am currently in a high kill shelter. In order for me to catch the ride to WI on August 26th to arrive on August 27th I have to have a foster home or an adopter This is my last chance. If I don t get out this time I don t have a next time The shelter gets too full. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my life but now they need your help Updated 8 3 2016 Name Gerald Sex Male Breed Lhasa Apso Mix Age Approx. 7 years old Weight Approx. 20 lbs I may be an older guy but I still have lots of love to give And I m a puppy in an older dog s body I still get the zoomies I love to play and I m always looking for fun I was adopted out from the shelter 5 years ago. The people here were excited I had a microchip when I showed up here again because I looked like I had been lost a long time. But the people that answered the phone said they didn t have a dog and hung up. Maybe my last family changed their phone number and forgot about my chip The Animal Control people went to the address they had on file but new people lived there. I sure hope my last family didn t forget me on purpose.The shelter people had me shaved down to get all the mats and yucky off me. I do have what they call a Cataract in one of my eyes but it s ok - I m still a good dog even with that.I need a new family to love me.
