I have 500 small bales of rye straw for sale. It is fine in texture and fluffy excellent for warm livestock bedding and poultry nesting boxes. The straw was cut long and thus useful for mulch and land reclamation projects. Unlike straw from wheat oats or barley rye breaks down quickly into the soil typically becoming incorporated by the next growing season resulting in increased soil hummus and higher phosphorous levels for improved root blossom seed and fruit development.
