That s what happened to Teko. He was living in Ohio with his older human but when she could no longer see to her or his needs she moved to California to live with her daughter in a nearby senior community. But then there were issues with the landlord so Teko ended up here. He s very confused Teko is a nice little fellow who would like to find another human companion who will be happy to have him home most of the time balanced with a couple daily walks in the outside world. He is very affectionate and attentive with his people hopping up on laps and following them everywhere. He s not really interested in meeting strange dogs (especially bigger ones) but he has a history of having dog friends. He just needs time and space to get to know them on his terms. Teko attended one of our dog training classes here and he did very well He s smart and a quick learner. Mostly though he wants to be with his special human.
