Job Description Under the general supervision of a Developmental Specialist the Developmental Technician implements prescriptive developmental programs for developmentally delayed and developmentally disabled individuals. Individual Related Programming Individual Training Implements training programs as assigned. Conducts individual and group developmental therapy support sessions. Data Collection Participates in the data collection process. Individual Supervision Individual Safety Observes individual safety procedures. Support Services Works with individuals to train independence in household chores. Communication Records messages for other staff. Staff Meetings Attends general staff meetings as requested. Skill Development Attends workshops or in service training sessions designed to increase knowledge and skills. Requirements Must be 18 years of age for insurance requirements HS GED Must have a valid driver s license with a good driving record. Background check with DHW is required before hire. Must be kind and patient. Employer has grooming and appearance standards. Work Schedule Part-time position Monday Friday. Position is located at the Meridian Adults Center. Experience preferred but not required. Wage is 9.50 per hour.
