Looking for a foster or forever home. Special adoption considerations Young puppy frequent potty breaks and socialization commitment to spay by 6 months of age additional vaccinations needed. If working 9-5 need to have PROOF of a multiple times a day dog walker. Izzie is very shy and needs to go to a home with another dog to show her the ropes Hi everyone I am Ivy and I am a 4 month old shep terrier mix and I REALLY want to come to DC and find my forever family I hear there are people waiting to see me I am about 18 pounds and am all brown I have 4 siblings that I am coming up with and we like to play and wrestle together. I am looking for the perfect family that will take me to the dog park or I hear about this place called doggy daycare that I really want to try out too. I will need a lot of exercise being a young pup and mental stimulation. I know I am good with other dogs and I have to go to a home with another canine sibling already in place because I am very shy and having a sibling I can learn and grow from will help me come out of my shell. I am unsure how I am with children or cats yet. I cant wait to meet you forever family and shower you will all my puppy kisses and lovies. I know you ll give me some belly rubs and treats in return Izzie is not old enough to have had all of her vaccines. It will be your responsibility as the adopter to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that until your puppy is fully vaccinated she is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog. Due to her young age Izzie has not yet been spayed or neutered. As part of the adoption contract it will be your responsibility as the adopter to ensure that this is done no later than 10 1 2016. Like most puppies Izzie will need to work on her housetraining. Izzie will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog The adoption fee for this dog is 400 which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.
