Litigation Associate - White CollarInternal Investigations

Major Law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (09 - 12 grad only) to join its New York office. Candidate Must have the following Solid litigation background preferably with white collar some SEC enforcement or internal investigation experience. Experience in a major law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent).Stellar academic credentials ( Top tier law school top 10% of class Law Review and or Moot Court accolades desired) Strong research verbal & written communication skills required New York Bar.Excellent work environment and benefits package with competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to -Representing a diverse clientele to include corporations boards of directors management and other individuals in connection with a broad range of government investigations enforcement actions internal investigations and white collar criminal investigations and litigation.-Engaging in all aspects of criminal trials and related civil and administrative actions in federal and state courts as well as before administrative law judges.-Representing public companies financial services firms and financial institutions on preventive and remedial measures before and after securities-related issues arise and with regard to lending practices and money laundering issues.-Handling investigations and civil and administrative proceedings brought by regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission FINRA the Federal Trade Commission the Office of Foreign Assets Control the Internal Revenue Service the Commodity Futures Trading Commission federal banking regulators and state attorneys general throughout the United States.
