Since she has only lived with adults we think she will do best in a similar situation or perhaps with a family whose children are high school age. The hustle and bustle of young children would not be Roxanna s cup of tea. Roxanna is not keen on other cats preferring to be the one and only object of your attention and affection. Her previous owner reports that she also hides from dogs. Give this lovely and loving gal a small space to call her own for a few days or weeks as she settles into her life with you and learns your routine. Visit her often and stay awhile enticing her to play with a feathery wand toy. A cardboard box or a cocoon-like bed would give Roxanna a cozy place to hang out and feel secure. Once she seems ready let her explore the rest of your home gradually--always leaving the way open for her to return to her safe haven.
