They were adopted from us as kittens and now -- 14 years later -- they have come back to find a new home. Their guardians were experiencing medical issues and felt it was best that they be re-homed with a new family. Ask to read what their foster mom wrote about these two loving and mellow cats. Mandy and Alex lived in a quiet household and would like to do the same this next time around. Teens and adults would be best. They are both on the shy side and will acclimate best if given a small private space for the first few days or weeks. Spend time with them in this area talking to them and petting them gently. They will want a large cozy bed or a roomy hiding box so they can snuggle together and feel safe. If you pet them and comb them a bit they will begin to respond to your touch. Just take things slowly understanding that this is a big change for them after all this time. They won t ask for much -- a sunny window a warm human lap and plenty of love and affection from you.
