You can contact me by Phone (415) ---X Fax (415) ---X Address 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd. Novato A Little Bit About Me Jezabell is a charming little terrier mix who was found as a stray in Kern County and was lucky enough to be picked by our Pet Partnership team for the move to Marin. She is very sweet loves everyone she meets and dispenses kisses with abandon. She is sleek and agile and will jump up on a bench to be near you and help you surf the web. What Jezabell doesn t care for is other dogs. While she might allow a quick sniff hello from a polite small dog she would rather not engage any further than that. And she definitely doesn t want any other dog to interact with her people - we call this lap guarding - or get near her special toys. All in all Jezabell is a people-dog and is very happy with that. We don t know anything about her background but perhaps Jezabell wasn t exposed to certain experiences at an early age. She is not completely comfortable walking on a leash and is sensitive to some loud noises. We re sure with patience and gentle encouragement she will come around but suggest that her household include older kids (14 ) who will be gentle and respectful. It would also be best if Jezebell lived in a home where someone was around most of the time. She became quite anxious when we left her alone. At your pre-adoption consultation one of our behavior experts will discuss with you a program to help Jezebell learn to cope on her own. One thing you ll want to do right away is sign up for Small Dog training classes. Such classes will not only teach you both the basics but will also strengthen the bond between you. From there why not give Agility or Nose Works a try Jezabell has already beaten the odds going from the streets of Bakersfield to the hills of Marin.
