After having operated two successful photography studios I retired seven years ago. About bored out of my mind I have now decided that doing what you love and enjoy beats so-called retirement so I have opened my third photography venture. I need someone who is willing to work and learn the marketing end of this business. You know there are a lot of guys and gals out there that know quite a bit about the technological aspects of photpography but very few indeed who know how to bring the business into the studio and regardless if you are the best damn photographer in the world and yet can t get paying customers (whether portrait sittings or commercial ad assignments) then you won t be calling yourself a professional very long because without paying customers there simply is no business. I have over forty years of seasoned experience at getting the paying business in the front door. The person that I m looking for will get from the very beginning (when and if you are my choice) a full 25% interest in the studio operatrion (after a thirty day trial period) with no up front investmnent required (but dedicated hard work however is very much required). After the thirty day period --- and if we are both stoll happy andx still speaking to each other then we will incorporate the business under Tennessee laws in both our names and then you will recieve your 25% of all the stock issued which means from the very get-go you get 25% of the profits and we ll establish something like a salary-draw for both of us at that time as well as provide for any other issues in our co-written (you and I) by-laws. You don t have to quit your other job until you are 100% comfortable as to where all of this is going but that s up to you. See how much you ve made in our agreed upon thirty day grace period and let that determine for you whether or not you might really still be able to eat afvter taking such an exciting jump and plunge into the world of your own business and being your own boss. Just as long as you can keep up with the work load that I ll be bringing in you can stay right where you are for the presnt. My expectation is that thiis person (hopefully that s YOU) will own a full fifty-percent interest within 24 months. And eventually (hopefully no sooner than 10 years God-willung) I will then actually want to retire and at that time we can discuss the possibility of you buying out my shares in the business. Of course we will put all of this in writing and our corporate statement will reflect our full agreement when we incorporate the studio and actually take possession of the shares of stock after the thirty day cooling off-grace trial period.. The only reason that I am doing this (and being so uncharacteristicallhy generous to some lucky individual) is becase I am older now and I am simply not interested in doing all of the leg work by myself that a really going business requires. I am sure that everyone who contacts me about this unusual offer is also reasonably good photographer ( maybe even better than me) but I ll bet the farm the new barn and all the livestock kin it against a dozen week old donuts that you wont find a bette or more savvy photographic marketing expert anywhere better than myself. So let the emails start and remember I m not wanting you to invest money but rather your ambition dreams skills aptitudes and plain old hard work --- that should be quite enough of an investment or at least I should think so anyway. So get with it (I should imagine that some smart young photographer is going to jump on this most unusual opportunity right quickly) Just tell me all about yourself your qualifications or maybe even your lack thereof what work that you do now your family life or none etc.. Just be honest and up front. I decide most things with my intuition about people and from the info in your email I ll decide if it might be worthwhile for both of us to actually meet and see if you are indeed that one lucky individual who is about to learn not how to be a better photographer (I hope yo are already that) but how to sell enough of what you shoot to actually put bacon on the table pay the mortgage buy the baby s milk and keep your love or lover happy and just maybe--- just maybe --- a few months down the line and few tyhousand exposures later we both can get that new car our mouths have been slobbering over for the last few months..
