Very rare original Bicycle Wheel Wall Clock 1 of 3 built production model serial 01 from the inventor Hand-built in USA by the inventor This is known as the first clock of this type to be invented in the US. Original 18-spoke design forms a 12-hour clock. Six pairs of intersecting spokes form the even number hours and six radial spokes with clock lens mounts form the odd number hours. Hand made parts by the inventor are as follows 1) center aluminum spoke and clock-movement flange 2) clear polycarbonate plastic lense 3) label plate and label 4) the six aluminum mounts for lens 5) specially-designed aluminum bracket for interior wall-mounting ________________________________________ Standard parts are 1) all stainless steel spokes 2) 700c lightweight aluminum alloy narrow clincher road rim 3) accurate quartz clock movement which uses one AA alkaline battery 4) all stainless steel fasteners including all fasteners on the clock lens Where clock is located The one I have for sale is actually in a local bicycle shop near the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville SC. After you turn into the main driveway if you are turning from Cedar Lane Rd. where there is a small group of other businesses you ll see on your right drive slowly and go straight approx. 250 ft. to their parking lot. The shop will be to your left. One of the trail entrances will be to your left also. There should be a sign on the shop that reads 205G. Shown in the photos is the first one built however it is a prototype and the one for sale which is the first limited-production model (serial 01) is exactly the same as the prototype except for the label on the label plate. The one shown in the photo has been covered over in black by computer method. The label on the one for sale has much black color to it instead of mostly white which the prototype has. On the back of the label plate on the clock for sale there is a patent label on the right side and serial 01 is engraved on the left side. By June 22 I may visit SRT Bike Shop to take one or two photos of the label plate on the actual clock for sale and also of the wall-mount bracket then upload those photos for this ad if the clock is not sold by then.
